Hanging Hunan embroidery scrolls with lion, deer,elephant and horse

This set of hanging scrolls made by the Wu Caixia Hunan Embroidery Workshop, is one of the earliest works of Hunan Embroidery. It was embroidered by Can needle, Ping needle, Song needle, Jie needle, Xuanmao needle and other ways. The lion, deer, elephant and horse designs were embroidered by Can needle, so their hair is thick and heavy, but not messy. Shuilu of flower, grass and antler were neatly embroidered. The picture is fresh and simple, unique and eye-catching, giving it a beautiful effect. An oval “Caixia” stamp was placed on the back side of the lion scroll.
